Gonzaga women rally past Portland

SPOKANE — The No. 17 Gonzaga women’s basketball team overcame a 20-point first-half deficit to defeat Portland 62-57 Sunday afternoon inside the McCarthey Athletic Center. The 20-point deficit is the largest the Bulldogs have erased in a victory under head coach Lisa Fortier.

Following the recent passage of District 271’s $20 million levy, two school buses have been used as full-time sign boards announcing the location of the new elementary school. Oh, I guess they actually needed one of the buses because it got moved after a couple of weeks. But the other one is still there.
