SCHOOLS: Parking for dollars

Following the recent passage of District 271’s $20 million levy, two school buses have been used as full-time sign boards announcing the location of the new elementary school. Oh, I guess they actually needed one of the buses because it got moved after a couple of weeks. But the other one is still there.

Is this one of the best practices that the school district claims to follow? Seems like a waste of assets, but with $20 million coming in, I guess that’s not important.
