It was reported in The Press that a guy got 48 months in jail for selling a skull with attached horns off a billy goat in Idaho.
VOTE: Respect everyone's choices
I write this letter with sadness over the anger people showed if you didn’t agree with whom they thought should be president. My husband just became a U.S. citizen and for six years since we have been back from ove…
STRANSKY: Proud to live in N. Idaho
Thank you to my District 2 community for their support and consideration during my recent campaign. Even though I came up short, I did not come up short in my commitment and respect for my community. The positive o…
CHARGES: The ol' Calif. rip off
Since many states are operating with a deficit, they are creating and thinking of ways to charge more fees and get more money from the residents. We own property in California and just received our property tax bil…

THANKS: Honor those now serving
It was a time of war. In the words of our 16th President Abraham Lincoln “… a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity…” in his proclamation speech on Oct. 3, 1863, that established Thanksgiving as an annual e…
CONGRESS: No time for politics
I find myself stunned by the current behavior of Republican leaders and most Republican members of Congress. At a time when the people of the United States need them to take care of serious issues, they have opted …
WOLVES: Hatred is short-sighted
Here is a question in thought for all you wolf haters. What if the ecosystem is not in balance? I respect hunters, but we cannot blame the elk population on the wolves. Wolves may terrify mankind, but they balance …
