VOTING: Penny wise, pound foolish
Curious about what would happen to my current voting place with an almost 50 percent reduction in voting precincts, I attended the commissioners meeting Tuesday, Dec. 20. The reason given for the changes and the ever-enticing bait was "save costs to taxpayers."

COEUR d'ALENE - Police said seven fake $20 bills have been passed at the Rendezvous bikini bar in downtown Coeur d'Alene.
Nancy Catherine Walker, 75
Passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Nov. 20, 2015. Nancy was born July 20, 1940, to Gordon and Vera Briethaupt in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
NIC faculty '20/20' exhibit opens Tuesday
North Idaho College faculty members will showcase their artwork during the “20/20” exhibit at the Boswell Corner Gallery. The show opens Tuesday and goes through March 27.
