NIC: Debit card debacle

I had one legal transaction that I submitted for a summer class. I paid it in full. The next day my card was run for a future class that I was enrolled in, but not able to take due to prerequisites.

CAROUSEL: Opportunity missed

I totally agree with everything written in Judy Norton’s letter and I want to ride as well! What a disappointment to discover that blank, lacking any character building to be the carousel.

MESS: Love's the answer

This country is a mess. We need to love one another. We have a DOJ who isn’t willing to uphold the law and allows hate to proliferate. This state congresswoman who suggested that Trump be assassinated should be pro…

CAROUSEL: Untapped potential

Is there a carousel in town? I drove downtown to see the carousel and all I saw was a yellow building.

VANDALS: Slamming the South

I wonder if Christie, Tony and Norm are celebrating the thugs and vandals who are desecrating the monuments of brave Southern soldiers? How are those vandals any different than ISIS destroying ancient artifacts? Wh…

UNITED: Our salvation

We must be the diversified forest or choke on the sands of an isolated desert. We must be the blended tapestry of fabric, so much more durable and fray resistant, or we’ll shred in the first big blow.

GRAMMY: Words ring true

I am writing in response to the guest column written by Leslie Wilde concerning the state of our nation. I couldn’t agree more. As a Grammy myself, I have been lamenting the actions, tweets, downright lies and bad …

STOP: And think

To the nitwit who is spray painting “Capitalism” on local stop signs: Have you ever heard of Venezuela? Those people are literally starving to death under your preferred economic system. Stop Socialism!
