Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
PRESS: A print servant
I am often criticized for reading my newspaper daily by friends who are social media addicts. I always tell them print journalism can bring more to a story than social media or broadcast journalism since the latter…
VIRUS: Remember 9/11
Like most of you, I am tired of the lockdown the state and country is in. I bring up 9/11 because how may people still remember it? Unfortunately, a lot of people soon forget what happened just a month ago.
GRADS: The fondest farewell
Dear Lake City Class of 2020,
SPOKANE: Insult will cost you
What a shameful way to treat your Washington neighbors. As a Spokane resident I, and friends, come to golf several times a year in Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene. Not anymore.

BULEY: Personal stories appreciated

KASTNING: Conservative, pro-Constitution
As a Kootenai County resident and voter, I am encouraging you to vote for Tim Kastning for Idaho State Representative Seat B.
WILLIAMS: Write her in
Are you looking for a State Senator who is willing and able to take action and actually represent you? I’m writing to encourage voters who are registered to vote in Coeur d’Alene to “write-in” Sharon “Shari” Willia…
WHITEHEAD: Honesty and experience
I would like to encourage the people of Kootenai County to vote for Richard Whitehead for Kootenai County Sheriff. He is the most honest and experienced candidate and has ran a clean campaign. Richard is the only c…
