OPINION: Just like everyone else, Idaho’s Attorney General must comply with the law
Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
HOUSING: Laughing to tears
It is important to have a good laugh once a day and the ecstatic person who announced that workforce housing will be built at $400,000 per unit and isn’t that wonderful, provided my day’s laugh.
LEFT: Innocence lost
For the “left” nothing is sacred. Get those children right out from the womb, no such thing as boy or girl, give them another choice of what sex they are.
CIVILITY: Matter of respect
I’m amused by people who write letters like the one from Sarah Swanby, April 10, puzzling over “lack of civil discourse.”
REILLY: The f-bomb candidate
On Dec. 16, 2021, I attended the Post Falls Library Board meeting where speakers were welcome to address censorship of books in our public libraries.
APRIL 1: Reason to smile
We loved your prank! Thank you for giving us and our friends a great laugh.
CAMPAIGN: Signs of distrust
Kudos for Devin Weeks story in the Coeur d’Alene Press calling out the illegal placement of campaign signs in our public right of ways.
ADDIS: A real Republican
I am endorsing Jim Addis for House seat 4A. I have known Jim and his family for more than 10 years.
PRIMARY: One ticket for all
Example 1: Republican is running as a Democrat. Example 2: Democrats are encouraged to register as Republicans or RINOs.
BILL: Are you serious?
Recently, President Biden signed a much needed bill, which states that from that moment on, it will be illegal to lynch anyone.
ITD: Quick response appreciated
Recently, a family member from out of the area was traveling north on Highway 41 just out of Post Falls and came to the construction area.
FEDS: Run it like Idaho
Governor Brad Little said recently, “In Idaho, we run state government like a responsible family runs its household budget. In the good years, you plan for the bad years. You live within your means and save for a r…
SAFETY NET: Headline is ‘Success!’
No one reads the paper anymore.
INCIVILITY: There is a cure
Are you tired of increased polarization, “othering,” name calling and lack of civil discourse?
MY TURN: One size fits all
Sorry to point out that the characteristics Karen Norskog attributes to Democrats apply equally to Republicans — egoism is pandemic, and the pejoratives she uses to describe liberals apply equally to conservatives!
MY TURN: Smells suspicious
The “My Turn” bon C10 of the April 6 Press by Karen Parrish Norskog was a childish attempt to paint Democrats with all of the problems in the U.S. It’s a shame she can’t find more facts than what is on social media.
