ADDIS: Good for Cd’A, Idaho
I am endorsing Jim Addis for re-election to the Idaho House for Seat 4A. Jim has been effective these past four years in the Legislature, supporting small business, education, lower taxes and our first responders. Just as important are Jim’s strong ties to our community.
I’ve known Jim and his family going on 40 years. During this time, they have given back to our community in so many ways. Some of these causes include Children’s Village, Festival of Trees and St. Vincent de Paul.
Many of us remember the 15-plus years they gave a brand-new car to a deserving senior from one of our local high schools and the bi-annual “Drive One for Your School” program benefiting our local high school booster organization. And one of my favorites, the time 100 disadvantaged children got bicycles for Christmas, helping kick off the now-cherished Christmas for All program!
More recently, Jim has supported the Make a Wish Foundation and St. Vincent de Paul programs. He also participated in Backpack for Kids, a program that provides disadvantaged school children with food so they have enough to eat and has served on local boards ranging from The Boys and Girls Club of North Idaho to Concerned Businesses of North Idaho.
Jim has deep roots in Coeur d’Alene, both in the business and public service communities. This has served us well these past four years in Boise. Please join me in re-electing Jim Addis to the Idaho House, Seat 4A.
