The North Idaho Reserve Academy, typically hosted by the Coeur d'Alene Police Department (CDAPD), has undergone some technological updates designed to make it easier, and less expensive, for reserve officers to attend classes. The IEN is a secure, online network that can be accessed in every community through local, public high schools.
CAMPING: A proposal for Idaho
I recently read the article in your paper about “Dispersed Camping” being offered in Montana. The article describes dispersed camping as an alternative area for people to camp when campgrounds are full. Often this area may not have a picnic table, fire pit, water, or toilets available, but it is still a place to rest your head for the night. This sounds like a great idea to me. Why not offer this option here in Idaho?
