Wilkey comes up big as Cd’A clinches top seed to regionals
COEUR d’ALENE — After shaking off the emotions of her final games at Larry Schwenke Field, Coeur d’Alene senior Jane Wilkey came up with clutch hits in each game of 5-4 and 11-2 victories in a 5A Inland Empire League sweep of the visiting Lake City Timberwolves on Tuesday.

SANDPOINT — Sophomore Tyrone Larson ran his record to 2-0 on the season, pitching four solid innings, and Paul Sundquist ripped four hits to lead Sandpoint to an 8-4 win over Bonners Ferry in the second game of a nonleague baseball doubleheader on Saturday at War Memorial Field.
