It was when the Hawks found themselves scattered that they eventually took the upper hand for good. Lila Kiefer scored six points, all from the free-throw line in the second quarter for Lakeland, which held visiting Sandpoint scoreless in the second quarter on the way to a 40-34 Inland Empire League win at Hawk Court in the Battle for the Paddle spirit game.
