Last week we drove up the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River to see how far we could get. Just past Kit Price Campground we started running into snow and downfall so we dropped back to the campground to have lunch.

Time to 'smell the roses' for this climatologist

I'm not exactly riding into the "chemtrail sunset," but I'm going to cut my weekly workload to 50 hours or so from the current 70 hours plus per week. As Yogi Berra, the famed New York Yankee catcher once said, "when I see a fork in the road, I take it."

COLUMN: The bully strikes again
In his latest column (https://cdapress.com/news/2024/mar/22/opinion-party-on-gem-state-heist/) Brent Regan chooses to do what most bullies do. When they are outsmarted or can’t admit to facts, they lash out with lies and name calling.

GEM: Step toward vouchers
It is extremely disappointing, yet not unexpected, to learn that Representatives Mendive of Coeur d’Alene and Don Cheatham of Post Falls chose to vote in favor of sending a bill that will open the door to allowing public money to be used for private and parochial schools to the full House to consider. The bill would be a step toward creating private school vouchers or tax credits. They voted in support despite the fact that every education group in the state testified against the bill.

GEMS: Amen to Cliff's column
I loved the weekly weather almanac that Cliff Harris wrote April 30 titled, “Are geo-engineers ‘playing God’ with our weather?” I thought I was the only one who looks up! I’ve known about chemtrails for at least 30 years and I’ve tried telling friends and family etc., about the airplanes using aerosols (and it’s not coming from the engines) to spray these poisons on us and they think I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m finally reading more and more about people reporting on them. All a person has to do is Google “Chemtrails” or “What in the World are they Spraying” and you’d be surprised at what you see and what’s going on. Like Cliff Harris quoted Mr. Combs as saying, they are hiding in plain sight!
