FLAG: Long may it wave
In response to U.S. Navy Veterans Gerald and Jeanne Bauerle: They should be commended and thanked for their honorable service in defending that very flag (whose value is being challenged to this day) to which they …
IRONMAN: Beauty was on display
My husband ran the Ironman. He collapsed shortly after crossing the finish line. It happened in front of my eyes, and I was very distraught. With this letter I want to thank all those spectators and volunteers that…
RULING: God would agree
I thought that Karl Eastlund, of Planned Parenthood, was deceptive, which should be expected from a Planned Parenthood representative. More than once he said that Hobby Lobby was denying their employees from gettin…

EDUCATION: Core of funding problem
A few weeks ago Mr. David Adler submitted a well written and thorough article advocating for increasing the education budget. He deserves 9 out of 10 points since he failed to address the issue of where to obtain t…
RULING: Free to practice religion
Planned Parenthood’s Karl Eastlund (The Press, 2 July 14) mourns the Supreme Court’s decision to allow freedom of religion. I’m sure it’s his honest misunderstanding and not abortion business related, so here are s…
FACILITY: Naysayers, help us understand
In the Thursday, June 26th issue of The Press, a story contained information about a Behavioral Health Community Crisis Center that is being constructed in Idaho Falls rather than in CDA. It appears much of the rea…

Re: Gressler - Obama deserves scorn, not praise.
