RULING: Not a war on women

| July 9, 2014 9:00 PM

If you listen to the news media, Hillary and the president, the Supreme Court ruling set back women’s right to birth control. Planned Parenthood President Karl Eastlund said “discriminate against women and their right to birth control coverage.” Plain and simple — BULL.

There are 16 birth control measures that Hobby Lobby provides. Only four they do not, which are for termination of pregnancy. Now I could be wrong, but if you got pregnant, then the 16 methods they provide did not work. So, now the question is to have the baby or abort it. All Hobby Lobby is saying is, we will not provide you with a means to abort your baby, which is your right.

No one talks about the other 16 birth control measures they do provide with their insurance. Very easy to look up, if you really wanted the truth.

Of course if you believe there is a war on women, why cloud the issue with honest facts.

Oh, how nice of the president, who took an oath to uphold the laws of the land, to say the Supreme Court got it wrong. Why not just do another executive order and ask the government to provide the other four methods of abortion to women. I mean, after all, if this is a war on women, then take some executive action to help these defenseless women.

Please don’t tell my wife, who raised three girls for many years by herself, that she is defenseless or you might have a real war on your hands.
