McEUEN: Ode to beloved tree
Just when I think I’ve seen and heard it all, something manifests that proves me wrong. I have been in the throes of accepting the changes to McEuen Field and reconciling myself to the cost of those changes when an…
TRUCKS: Not fan of big ones
I am afraid using 95 in Coeur d’Alene just might get more difficult with Senate Bill 1117 which would approve even larger trucks coming through town with the approval from local elected leaders. Trucks with weight …
POTHOLE: Bad spot in Rathdrum

According to the Press article about CoiNuts last Saturday, the police and prosecutor have taken the tack that Mr. Mitchell did not commit a crime because they could not prove “intent.” All this while having a stac…

I’m writing to encourage you to vote YES for our Coeur d’Alene School District Maintenance and Operations Levy on Tuesday. Our future generations’ education is vitally important to the success of our kids, our comm…
McEUEN: Don't forget the seniors
I would like to know why the City of Coeur d’Alene City Council and Building Department are against senior citizens and the handicapped. I have found out that in their construction of the McEuen Park that they are …
