CRASH: Victim thankful for help
On April 13 I was on 1-90 freeway headed east toward Coeur d’Alene, looking forward to a hike on Tubbs Hill with my dog. I was stationary in traffic at the construction area when I was rear-ended by a car at highway speed. I was taken from the right hand lane of the freeway to the center of the grassy median. My car was totalled, but it saved my life. I was extremely lucky to walk away.

Thanks for a nice healthy pack of wolves
Wolf recovery in the Northern Rocky Mountains is one of the greatest success stories in the history of the Endangered Species Act - that is unless you live here. In a period of time spanning less than 20 years, our federal government led by then Secretary of Interior Bruce Babbitt and President Bill Clinton, transplanted, recovered, and recently pulled nearly a million dollars in funding for wolf management activities.
