For anyone who has visited 4th and Main Pizza in Spirit Lake, they may have been served by a certain 17-year-old Timberlake High senior who at times works in the back. During the past 4 1/2 years, she has worked in various positions, including the front counter as a cashier.
POTHOLE: Bad spot in Rathdrum
The entrance to Rathdrum Post Office has had a large pothole for over two months. I asked why they do not fill it as it can throw auto tires out of alignment and damage tires. I was told we do not own the building; it’s not our responsibility. I asked who owns the building and has responsibility and was told I don’t know. Typical government response.

Republicans-Democrats, it really makes no difference. The only way to improve this nation's economy is to start buying American-made products again. Go into a department store and tell them you will buy a 50-inch TV IF they can sell you one made solely in the US. You won't be buying a TV.

North Idaho wins an 'Idol' golden ticket
You don’t need to be an “American Idol” fan to appreciate just how big a deal the two-day taping of auditions for the upcoming season is for our area. Flashback to 2010 when Julianne Hough and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest became an item and she brought him to Coeur d’Alene to meet her grandparents and frolick in Lake Coeur d’Alene. The pair enjoyed time at the lunch counter at Hudson’s Hamburgers on Sherman Avenue during one visit.
