DALTON: Reasons against recall
I and my fellow residents of the city of Dalton Gardens are being asked on March 12 to vote on whether to recall our mayor and entire city council. Removing our duly elected mayor and council will not “save” Dalton…
DALTON: Recall is only option
Like it or not, the Dalton Gardens recall is happening. The Press editorial, refusing to acknowledge the merits of the recall demands that to avoid unpleasant feelings there be no recall, instead waiting for a futu…
DALTON: Recall to control traffic
This letter is about information on the Recall of the Mayor and City Council all residents should know. It should not be this difficult for a small, rural town like Dalton Gardens to request that the Mayor and City…

I’m much amused at the uproar over the media bias chart published in The Press.
MARSY: Fear is unfounded
The Idaho Senate recently passed Marsy’s Law for Idaho, and I want to thank each of the 25 senators who voted “yes” for their courage and support of crime victims in our state. A special thanks goes out to Sens. So…
DALTON: Ballot includes hearsay
I was going to write something ironical about the ugly, red, recall signs hanging from peoples fences in Dalton Gardens and how much they add to the serene, welcoming, semi-rural atmosphere of our quiet little town…
SCOUTS: Don't blur gender roles
Yes, the good old days when boys could be boys — Frogs, Snails, and Puppy Dog tails and girls were girls — Sugar and Spice and everything nice.
