On March 8 and March 15, I emailed Representatives Barbieri and Green asking why they voted NO on the “Child Marriage” bill. As of March 30, I have not received a response. I am assuming my correspondence wasn’t im…
OPT-OUT: A dirty done deal
Would or could you ask the county commissioners why they held the public hearing last week when the decision had already been made by Commissioners Fillios and Brooks! They had already decided to nix the opt-out pr…
SMOLLETT: Broaden the search
While O.J. Simpson tirelessly scours the Earth looking for the real killer of his wife, perhaps he could keep an eye out for the two guys in MAGA hats who mugged Jussie Smollett in Chicago. Just thinking.

INITIATIVES: Losing our liberty
The Idaho Legislators repealed term limit laws which voters approved and affirmed in three elections. Now they want to make it extremely difficult to voice our opinion by petition. Are there no consequences for thi…

Self-appointed “CEO” Joel Bordeaux’s letter of March 24 was directed to Governor Little and others as a marketing tool. He discusses the pros of CBD oil and hemp, both bi-products of the marijuana plant. He claims …
CARTOON: What is, isn't socialism
I did not appreciate the cartoon in Sunday’s paper. “If there’s one thing we don’t need, it’s socialism!”
