PIKE: War against anglers

What’s next after pike? First lake trout, now walleyes and pike. By the way, anglers cannot keep bull trout or cutthroat trout, including hybrid cuts (the red slash rule). Hey, Fish and Game, circle up, draw your weapons and fire at will! Go ahead and willfully destroy more fishing opportunities while wondering why the public is less interested in becoming fishermen. Maybe you (the IDFG) should just triple the license fee and drive the rest of us fishermen out.

This war against anglers must stop. I notice the IDFG does not have the balls to go after large or small mouth bass; the nationwide BASS organization would stomp them (IDGF) into the ground, urinating on them before they leave. The IDFG is very comfortable going after us recreational anglers who don’t have a political lobbying group and just have a tendency to bitch to each other.

One last thought on a related subject: Lake Pend Oreille. Hey, Avista grow a set and cut the money off. Maybe anglers should start targeting Avista because the IDFG just gives anglers the middle finger when concerns are brought up. Cut the money off and this madness stops.
