Letters Policy. The Press encourages letters as a means for readers to share opinions and feedback about local and regional news and events. I attended the NIC candidates forum where three of the applicants wanting a job as an elected official, specifically a board member of North Idaho College, failed to show up for the interview.
NIC FORUM: Accreditation warning not a conspiracy theory
As I was leaving the NIC forum for the candidates who are running for trustee positions, I heard loud proclamations from one man, that the whole loss of accreditation issue was blown out of proportion.

LOAN FORGIVENESS: Makes college worth less
For the entitlement kids who think that “loan forgiveness” (i.e. institutionalized theft) is nifty, I offer a simple maxim: Generally, things are worth what you have paid for them.
