ELECTION: Vote for Bieber

With more than 30 years of teaching American government, and eight years’ service in the Idaho Legislature as a state representative, I believe I have a good understanding of the qualities needed to effectively serve in that position. It requires someone with integrity, a sense of fairness, a willingness to work hard, and then make informed votes. It requires someone who will listen to the concerns of their constituents and give them their full attention and respond appropriately. It means someone with a willingness to study all sides of an issue, and make decisions that will best serve their constituents. It also means someone who will govern with an open mind, with common sense and not be bound by ideology and blind party loyalty.

The good news is that there is someone running for state representative with those qualities, and that someone is Larry Bieber. Larry has dedicated more than 40 years of his life to military and non-military service to his country and community. In his career as a coach at Coeur d’Alene High School, he won state championships in multiple sports, and as an instructor, and at NIC he earned a 5 star rating from his students. His broad experience in coaching and teaching has made him well equipped to be an advocate for public education. As a real estate agent, he also has a good understanding of the concerns of business and the dynamics of growth in our community. Larry also understands the need for affordable quality child care for working families.

I encourage you to vote and to vote for someone who will represent you with your best interests, and the interests of Idaho and Coeur d’Alene at heart, I encourage you to vote for Larry Bieber for State Representative, District 4, position B.
