In their first game on Friday evening, Sting beat Missoula Strikers White 2002G-SE 5-0. Sting goals were scored by Abbie Lyman (assisted by Cailyn Garza), Sydney Harbison (assisted by Cailyn Garza), Geneva Bengtson (assisted by Kayli Lynn), Madyson Smith (assisted by Abbie Lyman), and Morgan Rust (assisted by Abbie Lyman). The Sting won its first game 8-0 against Missoula. Abella Voigt had a hat trick. Other goals were scored by Taleya Jones, Ella Morton, Gabrielle Henkle, Ember Morgan, and Jocelyn Dennis. Assists came from Elise Frazier, Mackenzie Goings, and Brynn Johnson. Game two the Sting beat Blitzz Gold 3-0. Abella Voigt scored once and Avery Waddington scored twice. Assists came from Mackenzie Goings and Mira Crawford. Game three STFC beat the Sandpoint Strikers 4-1. Goals were scored by Abella Voigt, Mackenzie Goings, Mira Crawford, and Ella Morton. Taleya Jones had 2 assists. The championship game was played against Hells Canyon and went into overtime with the STFC winning 3-2. Ella Morton and Avery Waddington scored during the game, with assists from Jocelyn Dennis and Ella Morton. Elise Frazier scored the winning goal in overtime. Keeper Mekare East-Peters had two shutouts and only had 3 goals scored on her the whole weekend. Sting Timbers FC 03 Boys Red: The Sting won the boys U15 Gold Bracket at the Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot Tournament in Coeur d’Alene on May 11-13. The team was undefeated with two shutouts.

The Sting defeated Nelson Selects from Canada 3-0. Next, they beat Missoula Strikers White 03B 3-0. In the third match, they beat Idaho Rush 03B Nero 3-1. In the final match against Blitzz FC Gold 03B, Sting Timbers won 2-1.

In the four matches, Nate Durocher and Cooper Proctor each scored 3 goals for the Sting, Ronan Malaghan and Christopher Swider scored twice, and Walker Jump scored once. Goals were assisted by Chris Koch, Miles Jones and Brennan Miller.

Sting Timbers FC Girls Red 04: The Sting squad played in the Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot Tournament this past weekend in a tough Gold bracket.

The first game the girls hosted the Kelowna FC United at Canfield Middle School, but lost 3-1. The sole Timbers goal was scored by Ellie Morrisroe, with a Kayla Dearmin assist.

The Timbers then played the Helena Arsenal SC Blue team to a 1-1 draw at Lake City HS,. Lucy Evans scored the Sting goal on a PK. The final game was played against the FC Nova ECNL Reserves team at Post Falls HS, and the Sting lost 3-0.

The girls will travel to Boise in two weeks for the 2018 Idaho State Cup.

North Idaho Inferno Hartzell Girls 07: The Inferno beat IEYSA G07 Breakers FC White Isbell-Cowell 4-1 on May 4, with goals from Isabella Berzoza, Kennedy Hartzell and Ellie McGowan. The Inferno then won 8-1 against Three Rivers Soccer Club G07 on May 5, with goals from Isabella Berzoza, Mallory Judd, Juliette GIlmor, Kennedy Hartzell, Ellie McGowan, and Danielle Todd.

On May 12 the Inferno beat IEYSA Scotties Bowerman-Lebon 5-0, with goals from Lily Bole, Juliette Gilmor and Isabella Berzoza, and 2 from Ellie McGowan.

North Idaho Inferno Hartzell Girls 06: The Inferno tied FC Spokane GU06 McGarity 1-1 on May 3. The Inferno team then beat IEYSA G06 Breakers FC Red McCabe 6-1 on May 5 with goals from Lily Bole, Brooklyn Brunn, Ellie McGowan and Rebecca Thompson.

On May 13 the Inferno lost 3-0 and 2-1 to the Spokane Foxes Pumas Dreher. Rebecca Thompson scored the lone Inferno goal.
