The Sting beat the Flathead Valley United – White (15-0), Flathead Valley United – Green (3-0) and Indie Chicas Lime (2-0) before losing to FC Missoula Blue (3-0). Sting goals for the tournament were scored by Kamryn Becker 2, Myah Rietze 3, Breanna Widener 2, Amber Aittama 2, Holly Huson 1, Dillenn Duncan 4, Chloe Biediger 3, Samantha Veare 1, Justine Trevino 1 and Lily Fletcher 1. Goalkeeper Hailey Parks had 16 saves for the weekend. In their first game on Friday evening, Sting beat Missoula Strikers White 2002G-SE 5-0. Sting goals were scored by Abbie Lyman (assisted by Cailyn Garza), Sydney Harbison (assisted by Cailyn Garza), Geneva Bengtson (assisted by Kayli Lynn), Madyson Smith (assisted by Abbie Lyman), and Morgan Rust (assisted by Abbie Lyman). In their second game on Saturday morning, Sting beat FC Nova ECNL Reserves 02 3-0. Sting goals were scored by Julie Stith (assisted by Madyson Smith), Julie Stith on a penalty kick, and Madyson Smith (assisted by Cailyn Garza). In their 3rd game on Saturday evening, Sting beat Valley Elite FC Gray 2002G-SE 4-0. Sting goals were scored by Madyson Smith (off a corner kick by Abbie Lyman), Abbie Lyman on a corner kick, McKenzie Mattis, and Maysen Deming. In their final game of the tournament on Sunday morning, Sting beat Queen City FC Red 2002-SE 7-0. Geneva Bengtson scored 3 goals, all 3 assisted by Madyson Smith. Madyson Smith scored 1 goal (assisted by Geneva Bengtson), Cailyn Garza scored 2 goals (assisted by Madyson Smith and Geneva Bengtson), and Julie Stith scored 1 goal (assisted by Kayli Lynn). Sting goalkeeper Autumn Lambert did not allow a single goal all weekend. Elijah Raybell had 2 goals. Kai Delio had one goal. Gavin Samayoa had 2 assists. The Sting beat the Valley Elite FC 13-0 at the Coeur d’Alene Soccer Complex. Goals were scored by Landon Lee (2), Cooper Prohaska (2), Caden Thompson, Gunner Larson (2), Blaine Leonard, Miles Taylor, Jace Simmet (2) and Chet Hanna (2). The shutout in goal was a combined effort by Miles Taylor, Landon Lee, Caden Thompson and Nate Wyatt. Saturday night, the Sting beat the Flathead Rapids 7-0 at the Coeur d’Alene Soccer Complex. Goals were scored by Isaac Fritts, Drew Hansen (3), Landon Lee and Cooper Prohaska, with assists by Isaac Fritts and Nate Wyatt. Miles Taylor posted the shutout in goal. In the semifinals, the Sting beat the Missoula Strikers Red 6-3 at the Canfield Sports Complex. Sting goals were scored by Caden Thompson, Landon Lee, Cooper Prohaska (2) and Isaac Fritts (2), with an assist by Nate Wyatt. In the championship game, the Sting beat the North Idaho Inferno 5-0 at the Coeur d’Alene Soccer Complex. Goals were scored by Cooper Prohaska, Isaac Fritts, Drew Hansen (2) and Gunner Larson, with assists by Miles Taylor and Isaac Fritts. Miles Taylor posted the shutout in goal. Braden Latscha was in goal for the shutout. On Sunday morning, Sting Timbers Red played Sting Timbers B06 White in the semifinals. Red beat White 7-0. Haidyn Jonas and Max Entzi each had 2 goals. Kason Pintler, Connor Jump, and Max Cervi-Skinner each had a goal. Zack Cervi-Skinner had 2 assists. Kason Pintler, Jacob Molina and Max Entzi each had 1 assist. The Sting won its first game 8-0 against Missoula. Abella Voigt had a hat trick. Other goals were scored by Taleya Jones, Ella Morton, Gabrielle Henkle, Ember Morgan, and Jocelyn Dennis. Assists came from Elise Frazier, Mackenzie Goings, and Brynn Johnson. Game two the Sting beat Blitzz Gold 3-0. Abella Voigt scored once and Avery Waddington scored twice. Assists came from Mackenzie Goings and Mira Crawford. Game three STFC beat the Sandpoint Strikers 4-1. Goals were scored by Abella Voigt, Mackenzie Goings, Mira Crawford, and Ella Morton. Taleya Jones had 2 assists. The championship game was played against Hells Canyon and went into overtime with the STFC winning 3-2. Ella Morton and Avery Waddington scored during the game, with assists from Jocelyn Dennis and Ella Morton. Elise Frazier scored the winning goal in overtime. Keeper Mekare East-Peters had two shutouts and only had 3 goals scored on her the whole weekend.
