Magdalene S. (Sweetie) Frazey, 86
Magdalene S. (Sweetie) Frazey, 86, of Rathdrum, joined her daughter Linda in heaven on July 31, 2012. She passed peacefully with her family by her side at the Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. She was born November 20, 1925 in Dickinson N.D. to Frank Wolfe of Russia and Annie Follmer of Germany. She married her sweetheart Harlan Frazey on December 7, 1946. They lived in Post Falls for many years before moving to Rathdrum.

'Legends and Topographies' exhibit Sept. 20
North Idaho College and the Citizens' Council for the Arts are hosting "Legends and Topographies," an exhibit of digitally created artwork by Idaho artist Pete Grady now through Sept. 20 in the Corner Gallery in NIC's Boswell Hall. There will be a closing reception and artist lecture at 1 p.m. with the location to be announced.

Last month I wrote a letter addressed to our grandchildren and (yet unborn) great-grandchildren. I indicated that the letter was to be read in 20 years, in 2036. I wrote that we were writing in response to the election of Donald Trump in November 2016.
