PREP BASEBALL: Lake City walks off with IEL title over Coeur d'Alene
Lake City (16-5, 13-4 IEL) faces Post Falls in the conclusion of a suspended game on Thursday at 3 p.m. The game will resume in the top of the sixth inning. Coeur d’Alene (14-9, 11-7) will be the second seed to the 5A Region 1 tournament, and host an opening round game on Monday at 4 p.m. at Ted Page Field.

IEL play wraps up on Thursday, with Coeur d’Alene home against Post Falls in a doubleheader, and Lewiston traveling to Lake City (13-7, 11-5) for a pair. Lewiston holds the run-differential tiebreaker over Coeur d'Alene head-to-head, should the two teams end up tied in league.
