Doctors are quick to medicate someone who comes in with complaints of over a hundred different emotional disorders, depression amongst the most frequent. While medications certainly have their place, and I am not a psychiatrist, I’d like to entertain another way of looking at, particularly depression, in a different light, in an effort to put power back into the hands of the individual.
