Laser therapy safer than drugs for pain
The number of people taking drugs to relieve joint and muscle pain is staggering. Photobiomodulation: The new frontier of brain science
Photobiomodulation (PBM) is the use of red or near-infrared light, more specifically low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or cold lasers, to stimulate, heal, regenerate and protect tissue that has either been injured or is degenerating. The main organ of the human body that is the most necessary for life is the brain. Unfortunately, the brain suffers from a multitude of different disorders that can be separated into groupings: traumatic events (stroke and traumatic brain injury), psychiatric disorders (depression, anxiety, PTSD) and degenerative disorders (dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s). There are studies showing the benefit of using LLLT in all of the different disorders. There is even the possibility that PBM could be used for cognitive enhancement in normal healthy people.

All of the above can be helped to a lesser or greater extent by applying a variety of treatment options; among the most useful of these are an improvement in diet, and receiving regular chiropractic care.
