Our current Lieutenant Governor’s grandfather, Andy Little, ranged more than 120,000 sheep from Emmett to Cascade. Former state Senator, Governor, and U.S. Senator Len Jordan supported his family by running sheep out of Kirkwood Bar below Hells Canyon during the Depression. This heritage lives on for many of us who grew up in rural areas of the West.

Donald W. Klotz, 86
Donald W. Klotz passed away unto his Lord and Savior, Jan. 23, 2015. Born Oct. 19, 1928, in Sandpoint. He was a lifelong resident of North Idaho. After graduation from Priest River High School, he was a logger in the Priest Lake area until he was drafted into the Korean War where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart. With an interest in science and business he used the GI Bill to attend Idaho State University and became a registered pharmacist, for a career spanning more than 40 years.
