Cd’A school trustees approve policies in lockstep
Dress code, parental rights among issues addressed by board
Trustees were in alignment Monday evening, unanimously approving several policies and a land acquisition resolution during a regular meeting of the Coeur d’Alene school board. It was the third reading for the Student Dress Policy, on which the board focused during its Dec. 4 workshop following several months of input from teachers and students and special efforts by members of the district’s Student Advisory Group.

The Coeur d'Alene School District will put two levy elections on the March 14 ballot — a $5 million-per-year, five-year safety and maintenance levy and a $25 million-per-year perpetual supplemental levy. School board members have already been hearing the question, "Why are you asking for more money when the state’s already giving you money?"
