The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a massive accumulation of marine debris in the Pacific Ocean, full of mostly plastic waste that degrades into bits that hurt animals and humans. Hayden resident Reid Harlocker is going to see it for himself while collecting data about Pacific pollution in February and March.
