The Thorns North FC 03/04 Girls soccer team recently won the 03 Gold Championship at the 30th annual Bill Eisenwinter Hotshot Tournament, outscoring their opponents 22-1. The Thorns started off Friday with an 8-0 win against Polson FC Navy 03. Ellie Morrisroe had 3 goals, Taytum Curtis, Molly Foster, Isabella Lucky, Casey McCoy and Olivia Wyatt each had 1 goal. Hailey Jo Parks and Danika Nowak combined in the goal for the shutout. In Saturday's action the Thorns beat Flathead Valley SC United 02, 5-0. Taytum Curtis and Olivia Wyatt each had 2 goals and Reagan Cherry had 1 goal. Hailey Jo Parks had the shutout in goal. On Sunday morning the Thorns won 4-0 against Urban Soccer Academy 02 Black. Taytum Curtis, Ellie Morrisroe and Claire Romero each had 1 goal, plus an own goal by Urban Soccer Academy. Hailey Jo Parks and Danika Nowak had the shutout in goal. In the championship game Sunday afternoon the Thorns cruised to a 5-1 victory over Flathead Valley SC United 02. Ellie Morrisroe had 3 goals and Taytum Curtis had 2. Hailey Jo Parks held Flathead to 1 goal in the championship.
