The North Idaho Inferno under-15 boys Johnson soccer team placed second in the gold bracket in the 3 Blind Refs tournament. Starting as U9 players and staying together as a team for the last 5-6 years besides adding a few players each year, the Inferno finished its season strong with placing first in the Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot Tournament, coming in second at the 3 Blind Refs tourney, and second in their league. This last weekend the Inferno shut out Flathead Valley White 3-0 and Sandpoint Strikers-Tate 2-0. Josh Nilson had the shutouts in goal. Against Flathead-White Loko Koller scored once and Caleb Calkins scored twice with an assist by Andrew Baumann. Against the Sandpoint Strikers Caleb Calkins and Loko Koller each scored once with an assist by Ron Rojas. The Inferno lost 2-1 to Flathead-Green. The lone Inferno score was by Alex Peters, assisted by Roman Smith. The Inferno won 5-1 against Calgary Chinook. Ethan Johnson scored with an assists from Caleb Calkins. Matt McLeod  scored once with an assist from Loko Koller. Caleb Calkins scored a hat trick.
