<p>On the weekend of Feb. 26-28, the Coeur d’Alene Thunder Peewee Team went to Midway, British Columbia, for the West Kootenay Playoffs. The Thunder won two games and lost two (both by one goal) and ended up taking third place in play-offs. The West Kootenay League consists of 10 teams, 9 of which are from British Columbia. The Thunder, whose age ranges from 10-12, went 9-2-2 in the regular season. This was the first year that the Coeur d’Alene Thunder had a Peewee team in this league. They also won a Peewee tournament in Nelson, British Columbia, in November, going 5-0 that weekend.
