LABRADOR: Try on $12 an hour
Mr. Labrador, I can tell you that I am a voter and I won’t vote for you, just like last election when I didn’t vote for you. Now I’ll tell you one of the reasons. At last week’s speech in Post Falls, you were quote…
OCTOMOM: A case for abortion
How about that great story about Octomom in the paper, Jan. 18. Let’s have a show of hands right now from all the North Idaho antiabortion wingnuts who sent money to take care of those 14 wonderful children. Just a…
ACE: Spotlight on worthy pilot
The editorial, “Tribute to a flying ace,” in Friday’s paper is one of the best The Press has ever carried!
OBAMA: Impeach him now, GOP

PET: Tribute to a special friend
A special animal I have dearly loved has passed on. I must say I was delighted by the care the veterinarian clinic gave me with their compassion, kindness and the strength to put her down. These wonderful veterinar…
FAITH: No substitute for modern medicine
I was raised by a mother who was a Christian Scientist. Immunizations were given in the public schools, however I had a religious exemption. In a class of 30 students, I was the only one who was not inoculated. Whe…
SOCIALISTS: Now hold on a second
I have to comment on a couple of letters in recent editions of The Press. According to Giles Kavanagh, “Obama is a Marxist.” Is this the same Obama that has been president during the most rapid stock market advance…
OBAMA: Seconds 'worst' emotion
Kudos to the person who wrote, “Obama, the worst president ever.”
