SOCIALISTS: Now hold on a second

I have to comment on a couple of letters in recent editions of The Press. According to Giles Kavanagh, “Obama is a Marxist.” Is this the same Obama that has been president during the most rapid stock market advance in history? Mr. Giles also said, “Obama’s agenda is clear: The destruction of America.” Is this the same Obama who ordered Seal Team 6 to eliminate Osama bin Laden? Is this the same Obama who has presided over the killing of numerous foreign terrorists with drones, and who has presided over the elimination of every foreign terrorist cell in this country?

Mr. Veit says, “… Bill Gates … is a socialist.” Is this the same Bill Gates who is the No. 1 capitalist in the world? Mr. Veit also mentioned Glenn Beck. He would rather watch him than listen to progressives. According to Wikipedia, Mr. Beck did manage to graduate high school. He withdrew from his lone college course which was in religion. He is an alcoholic and drug addict, currently reformed. He has been successful by making outlandish comments on TV that no educated person could possibly absorb. Two other political entertainers who have limited education are Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh.

Another item of interest on Wikipedia is the “Flat Earth Society.” A few people in North Idaho might be interested in joining.
