Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
WALLACE: A historic note
Thank you for the community service The Press provides through its weekly “History Corner” columns. The April 12 column on William Wallace contains some erroneous information. Since articles of this nature may be u…
SHOLEH: Wisdom with Sharia, Islam
I am writing this letter to praise Sholeh Patrick for her well thought out column that appeared in the April 14 Press entitled “Sharia, Islam far from uniform.” It’s too bad that Sholeh was not the person speaking …
JESUIT: Honor these servants
My thanks to those who responded to the person who went on a completely senseless tirade against the Jesuit Community. Does he have any idea how bad he looks? I had a cousin who served honorably in World War II and…

I really really hope that the next time the “Idaho Nine” come up for election that all the single moms and dads out there that are about to be thrown to the wolves, so to speak, based on stupidity and paranoia, wil…
OPINIONS: Combo hits the bull's-eye
I was in Coeur d’Alene this week and couldn’t help notice the placement of the editorial cartoon “ANYBODY but her” strategically placed adjacent to your guest opinion, “Let’s all proclaim Equal Pay Day.” Well playe…

SHOLEH: Correct on Islam, sharia

Once again Sholeh Patrick reveals her ignorance (“Sharia, Islam far from uniform” April 14), regarding false religions which hold many souls captive; this time it’s Islam. Once again she condemns Idaho lawmakers, t…
SHOLEH: Honor well-earned
Congratulations, Sholeh Patrick, on being the recipient of the 2014 “Civil Rights Award” Monday night from the KCTFHR.
DOWNTOWN: A rude awakening
I was recently lucky enough to land a job that has me working about half the week in our lovely downtown area. Little did I know of the nightmare I would face trying to park downtown.
SHARIA: Column, stories appreciated
Just want to thank Sholeh Patrick for her column on Islam and Sharia law. It was so helpful to understand the differences among Muslims, where Shi’a and Sunnis reside, how conservative and more mainstream versions …
PROSECUTOR: A big case awaits
I’m so happy to see the County Prosecutor has really got aggressive with the cases regarding “Falcon Death” (Press March 11) and “Wolf Shooter” (Press March 15) and slapped the “CoiNuts Owner” on the wrist (Press M…
