MILLIE: Idaho is 'screw you' state

My daughter recently went to Kootenai Emergency for severe pain. She went two days in a row for pain so severe she was bent over. They practically did NOTHING for her and yet she got a bill for $7,000. Now her insurance will pay for most of it.

She works in heavy equipment and is not employed for weeks at a time. Insurance for that line of work is lousy.

My advice, don’t go to Kootenai Emergency unless you’re dying. After all they want you to pay for all that new construction.

I, too had a bad experience at that emergency room.

Of course Idaho is known as the “screw you” state. A lot of people I know agree with me.
