OPINION: Just like everyone else, Idaho’s Attorney General must comply with the law
Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
JUDGE: Gave correct sentence
I believe the community owes enormous gratitude to Judge Gibler for his sentencing of Morales for double murder.
MARCH: A positive protest
Thanks Cd’A Press for the article, “The Right to Life” on the front page (1/24/16)! Your photographer took time to get some good shots of a variety of pro-life signs at the march. And thank you people for getting o…
EDITORIAL: A slanted view
I have to respond to the editorial in The Press on Jan. 27 regarding the Houston grand jury’s charges in the Planned Parenthood “baby body parts scandal.” The two undercover activists/filmmakers who were charged wi…
REDOUBT: Don't tread on them
Regarding the Jan. 27 article by Chris Carlson (The Carlson Chronicles) on the American Redoubt, I imagine British sympathizers made similar comments about our nation’s founders.
Post Falls: Far from paradise

CAROUSEL: A modest proposal
Here’s an idea: put the Playland/Foote Carousel where the “lighted bridge” is and put the bridge at the proposed carousel location. If in doubt, put it to a vote of the people.
PRESIDENT: It's a small world
In response to Jo Anne Anglin’s letter to the editor Friday, Jan. 22. I am a Republican and I agree with you 100 percent. “Running for president is not a game show. Our lives depend on a president who can get along…
