Post Falls: Far from paradise
Which Post Falls did your Sunday editorial refer to? Please put away the Pollyanna and the Prozac. Time for some reality from your own news articles.
Post Falls is where the shoplifting 9-year-old got picked up on an outstanding warrant. Made national news.
Post Falls is where the K27 shooter stashed his stolen cars. Rumor has it he lived in a home not far from the water tower on Spokane Street. His buddies did. The PFPD had to raid it last year after Sgt. Moore perished.
Post Falls is where Meador the molester lived near the aforementioned 9-year-old and molested little girls.
Right by the Treaty Rock monument is where the live-in boyfriend killed his girlfriend because she threw him out of her apt.
Why didn’t these people live in Liberty Lake or Coeur d’Alene, I wonder?
In Post Falls, just mere blocks from the new row of hospital satellite facilities, is where Chase Bank just left because employees sat there all day with so few customers. Now I get to drive 8 to 12 miles to another one. Evidently they couldn’t attract customers being in a strip mall with an e-cigs nicotine juice joint, a 500 percent+ interest pay day lender, and a food stamp friendly take and bake pizza place. Who knew?
I can show you houses in tracts like Montrose where people rent out illegal basement apartments because that’s all mom or dad can do on their own.
But by all means let’s plow under the prairie and build more starter homes, apartments and trailer parks. We need more latch key children, molesters and cop killers.
The truth is Post Falls is a poor man’s Coeur d’Alene.
It’s quarters for the working poor.
