OPINION: Just like everyone else, Idaho’s Attorney General must comply with the law
Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
BIKE: Let's not forget the thief
A wonderful story illustrated our community's support for Kristian Parrett as a result of some low life stealing his new bike. I couldn't help but be reminded of a similar incident that happened to me many years ag…

This letter is to say Thank You to all of the residents of the Inland Northwest; not just beautiful Coeur d'Alene, but to Post Falls, Hayden Lake, Spokane Valley, Spokane and all of the other great small towns that…
KVNI: Decrying doo-wop's demise
An interesting article appeared in last Saturday's Press concerning KVNI's shift to a larger sports format and eliminating its oldies music.
RAISES: Here in the real world
Hmm. I read the article in the Sept. 2 Coeur d'Alene Press regarding the pay raises for some officials and, while I have refrained from voicing my opinions because I like to keep my privacy, I need to comment on th…
KVNI: Changes aren't welcome
Congratulations to all of the management at KVNI. You have taken the last bastion of local Coeur d'Alene radio.

FARRAGUT: Ode to its reunions
My husband was one of the fellows who began his service at Farragut Naval Training Station in the 1940s. We have returned there several times for the reunions - held the first weekend after Labor Day. Three years a…
McEUEN: Last word from a first-timer
First time commenter! I guess I'm officially "older" now that I'm pushing 65 and in need of complaining.
CROSSING: Less danger, more drama
I also live near the intersection of Lancaster Road and Government Way (letter of Aug. 28) and I see nothing any more dangerous at this particular intersection than any other.
