In the spring of 2012 I was at the Reverse Job Fair, where Post Falls High School seniors prepare displays of their career choice and professionals from the business community walk through and interview each student. Most are very traditional careers: Physical therapy, diesel mechanics, computer technology, etc.

Longtime Idaho political consultant Lou Esposito said Tuesday that The Idahoan is a “conservative voter information periodical” meant to inform Idaho’s residents. It makes no bones about its conservative perspective, said Esposito, but is intended to start conversations among people across the political spectrum.

2014 should be an 'active' hurricane season

Randy Mann and I see a rather 'active' hurricane and tropical storm season this year, very similar to the 2010-2012 seasons when there were 19 named storms each year. Last year, in 2013, we had a near-normal 16 named storms ending with 'Karen' in early October. The normal is 10 named storms.
