Cd'A girls cross country club wins at Nike NW regionals

EAGLE - Pantalones Rapidos, a cross country club team consisting of girls from recent state 5A champion Coeur d'Alene High, won the girls team championship with 52 points in the championship flight at the 5-kilometer Nike Northwest Regional meet Saturday at Eagle Island State Park to advance to nationals Dec. 1 in Portland.

Mary L. Kleeman passed away from natural causes at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane on Aug. 20, 2011. Her loving children, Bob Hunt, Linda Kelly and Nancy Kelly, held her hands through the night until God called her. She was born to Armer and Ruth (Starling) Barr on Sept. 20, 1921, in Parkersburg, W.Va.

I write this letter in full support of the Coeur d’Alene School District Levy and Bond requests. I would like to preface my support with the background that I have volunteered in the Coeur d’Alene School District for most of 30 years. Those volunteer activities included more than 20 years on the School Board and nearly 20 years as the Board liaison to the District’s Long Range Planning Committee.
