William (Bill) Robert Bickel, 70

William (Bill) Robert Bickel lost his long fought battle with heart disease on June 15, 2010. He was born Nov. 2, 1939 at Joel, Idaho, to Wes Bickel and Maxine (Buchanan) Carrico.  He was raised by his grandparents William (Bill) and Edna Buchanan. He was preceded in death by his bride Cheryl Lynn (Foster) Bickel, his brother Ronald Bickel and sisters Terry Berwick and Sharon McMannon.  He is survived by his daughters Melanie Beamis of Post Falls and Natalie Martinson and son-in-law Bruce Martinson of Coeur d’Alene, and granddaughters Crystal Bielenberg of Lewiston, Racheal Beamis of Post Falls, Keshia Martinson of Coeur d’Alene, and numerous adopted children and grandchildren. Nieces Kim Hamlin of Hayden, Marge Rode of Lewiston, nephews Dennis Bickel of Elbert, Colo., Tracey Bickel of Post Falls and numerous other nieces and nephews.
