Karen Burch of Post Falls, Idaho, originally from Carlsbad, Calif., peacefully took the hand of Jesus and went on to heaven. She loved our Lord and Savior and was a devout Christian and was saved in 1953. She was surrounded by her family on June 12, 2016, at Hospice House of North Idaho. Born March 30, 1944, in San Diego, Calif., she is predeceased by her parents, Robert John Sr. and Eva Ruth (Price) Little; her two younger sisters, twins Colleen Sollars and Maureen Little; and her husband, Barney Burch.

More than 100 years ago Idaho 4-H started revolutionizing how science was taught outside the classroom. In its advancement, nearly 100 topic areas have been developed for youth to study. Topics revolve around three areas: Healthy Living, Science and Citizenship. Each area uses research-based curriculum from The University of Idaho's Extension system. County-based Extension faculty and staff partner with community volunteers to deliver 4-H topics to nearly 70,000 youth each year.
