My wife and I have E-bikes enabling us to get back on trails we have so much enjoyed over the years. Now in my 80s, traditional biking days are over. We love wilderness trails and those in neighborhoods, so accessible in our area.

The city of Post Falls has approved its budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Post Falls City Council members unanimously voted in favor of the $148,435,141 budget during a regular meeting Tuesday evening. This is about $4.8 million less than the previous fiscal year's $153,193,332 budget and nearly $49 million more than the 2021-2022 budget of $99,678,119.

Roberta Graves Larsen was born on Aug. 8, 1936, at the home of Dr. Blackwell, which is now known as the Blackwell House on Sherman Avenue. She grew up in the home of her grandparents, Richard and Iverina Rasmussen, with her mother Joyce on Cougar Bay. The Rasmussen legend on the Heritage Wall at the Coeur d’Alene Library describes them as among the first settlers in Cougar Bay in the early 1920s.

I was an employee at TESH for nearly eight years, but last week I couldn’t stand to be there anymore.
