The colors of the moon

Potent storm systems usually need the support of the upper-level winds as they move across the continents to produce significant precipitation. Long-time observations and data analysis show a correlation with the lunar cycles and behavior of the upper-level jet stream patterns.

Post Falls City Council votes to deny Briner annexation

Citing proximity to a commercial area, City Council voted to deny the Briner annexation Tuesday night. The Briner annexation covers a 4.630-acre parcel of land owned by Chris Briner by Poleline Avenue and Maguire Road. Gordon Dobler of Dobler Engineering on behalf of Briner and said a single family R1 zoning designation use made the most sense for the land use.
