The Sting 11 girls finished second in their division at the Pend Oreille Cup last weekend in Sandpoint. The Sting beat the Spokane Shadow G11 Samba 1-0 on a goal by Brinley Plumb. On Saturday morning the Sting beat Flathead Valley United SC 4-0. Elle Sousley scored two goals and Kylie Lorona and Gracie McVey each scored once. On Sunday morning the Sting beat the Glacier Surf in the semifinals. Constance Ovendale scored in regulation and the game, tied 1-1, moved to a shootout, where Elle Sousley, Gracie McVey and Kylie Lorona scored for the Sting. Halley Viaud was the goalie for the Sting during the game and the shootout. The Sting fell 4-0 to Helena in the championship game.
