The new Northern Lakes Fire Station 3 will utilize 2,000 square feet for an apparatus bay and maintenance/shop/storage and the remaining 5,000 sq feet living quarters, sleeping quarters, meeting/training areas. The units making up the station will be comprised of prefabricated pieces. In total, the new station costs about $3.65 million to order and assemble.
