Three Coeur d'Alene High distance runners qualified to attend the 2024 Arcadia Invitational in Arcadia, Calif., on April 5-6. A record 692 high schools had athletes qualify for track and field events throughout the United States. In the 3,200 meters (Open Section 1), Zack Cervi-Skinner placed 15th with a time of 9:17.49, and Jacob King placed 23rd with a time of 9:25.24; in the mile run (Open), Zack Cervi-Skinner placed 48th with a time of 4:24.95; and in the 3,200 meters (seeded), Max Cervi-Skinner placed 25th with a time of 9:05.65 (setting a CHS school record).
