Northwest Specialty Hospital donated $1,000 to help buy Thanksgiving turkeys to be distributed by Turkeys & More in Kootenai County. Evalyn Adams, coordinator of the nonprofit group, expressed a BIG thanks and said their willingness to help others was a great boost because it has been more difficult to raise funds this year. The goal has been to serve 2,000 vulnerable families for this cherished holiday which will provide meals for about 10,000 people. Any contribution to Fight Hunger and Feed Hope will be greatly appreciated and can be sent to P.O. Box 267, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816. Secure donations can be made online at turkeysandmore.org. To help or for more information, please call Adams at 208-765-5535.
